Free Library Activities - Summer Reading Challenge 2017 - Upton Library

The Summer Reading Challenge is aimed at all children, but especially those in primary school, rewarding them for reading books.
  • A free foldout presentation pack upon joining.
  • Two collector’s cards and a fold-up game after reading two books (any two books: although we encourage them to be library books and not too easy or quick for your child to read: it is a challenge after all).
  • Two more collector’s cards and a doorhanger after reading two more books.
  • The two final collector’s cards and a keyring after reading the final six books.
  • Each “completer” will then be invited to a special award’s ceremony where they will receive their very own (gasp!) certificate and medal.
Everything is nicely presented and illustrated by Tony Ross, aimed at keeping  your child reading over the vital Summer months.
